INSURANCE

International Customers

A valid motorcycle license from your home country is required to rent and operate a scooter or motorcycle in the Philippines. A standard automobile driver's license is not sufficient.

Please note that most local insurance providers do not offer coverage for foreign nationals riding scooters or motorcycles, even when the rider holds a valid motorcycle license.

For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before your trip. Providers such as World Nomads offer policies that may cover adventure activities and motorcycle use, subject to their terms and conditions.

If you are planning a visit to the Philippines, ensure your travel insurance includes:

**Motorcycle and scooter riding coverage

**Medical expenses

**Emergency evacuation

**Personal liability protection

Road conditions and driving practices may differ significantly from those in your home country. Please ride carefully, obey local traffic laws, and always wear appropriate safety gear.

Philippine Nationals

We strongly recommend obtaining your own travel and medical insurance before renting a scooter or motorcycle. Please verify that your policy specifically covers motorcycle and scooter rentals, riding activities, and medical treatment. Many local banks and insurance providers offer affordable travel insurance options.

Liability Waiver & Rental Terms

By renting a scooter or motorcycle, the renter accepts full responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, medical expenses, fines, legal costs, or third-party claims arising from the use of the vehicle.

Before departure, renters must thoroughly inspect the vehicle with the owner or rental representative and carefully review all rental terms, conditions, and liability waiver documents.

The renter is responsible for understanding and complying with all terms outlined in the rental agreement.
